Health is the New Hustle

A friend messaged me Saturday morning: "Want to join me for a detox breakfast?"

I'm sorry for the photo of empty plates. The others show us together, and privacy is a form of wellness, too.

We sat together on his terrace in a five-star hotel. There was no champagne or croissants, just poached eggs, avocado on sourdough, pan-fried seitan, fresh fruit, green smoothies, and strong espresso. This is the new standard, not excess, but alignment, not overdrive, but vitality.

We sorted my vitamins and herbs into: stay or go.

I had a comprehensive blood test on the island two months ago. Yesterday, we reviewed the results: higher iron levels, improved omega-3, and a solid boost in folic acid. We'll repeat the test in a year. Not to chase perfection, but to live with intention. Health as a measurable KPI.

We were still on the terrace an hour later, overlooking the pool and the bay. There was no urgency, no pressure, just stillness. Sometimes, silence says more than a hundred meetings.

Fifteen years ago, this would have been unimaginable. I lived on caffeine, adrenaline, and successive wins until my body hit the brakes. Until the hospital. Until I had to redesign my life from scratch.

That moment became the start of Redesign.

My book is not a memoir but a guide. It is for entrepreneurs who want more than revenue, who want their lives and their energy back.

Because health is the one asset that never shows up on your balance sheet, yet determines everything.

Ibiza reminds me of this every day. Many people here don't measure success in dashboards or quarterly goals but in how they feel, their bloodwork, and how long they can stay sharp without burning out.

I wrote Redesign for entrepreneurs who are ready to choose between performance and peace, growth and well-being, and high impact but sustainability.

More and more, I see people choosing to leave alcohol behind.

Later that day, we went to a vernissage. Instead of champagne, I ordered a virgin pornstar. You can start doing that today!

See you Wednesday for The Midnight Project.
