Transparency Example: Flash Delivery Services

My advice to every entrepreneur is to do your homework and be transparent about your ideas. The more open you are about what you’re up to, the better people can help you succeed or participate.
Transparency Example: Flash Delivery Services

Do you want to start a business? Always be transparent about your ideas. Being transparent is your golden ticket to success. You are rarely unique.

Take, for example, delivery startups in Amsterdam. Flash delivery services are opening in Amsterdam: in 2021, Gorilla, Flink, and Getir are already in business. In addition, Cajou, Dija, Weezy, and Zapp mention the Netherlands in their European expansion plans.

In my book Redesign: Becoming a Happy, Healthy, and Successful Entrepreneur I write: "I meet so many people who come up with an idea for a product or service, go into their basement and lock the door, and then work for weeks and months refining it. Then when everything has been made to perfection, they emerge and present their gift to the world. But it turns out that no one is interested because while they were sequestered, the world changed, and what they have to offer nobody needs anymore. Can you think of anything more horrible for an entrepreneur? Please let me save you from this fate."

Coming back to the flash delivery examples. First, mentioning the European expansion plans strengthens the position in public as a thought leader. Second, it has a psychological effect on the market, impacting how people think about their competitors.

So please remember, ideas whose time has come happen all the time, and transparency around your own thoughts is always the place of power.
