Entrepreneurship takes over everything, your life, your thoughts, your daily activities. If you're not careful, it will take over your health and happiness.
At least, that is what most entrepreneurs are telling me.
Don't get me wrong: I am all about starting a business and focusing on it 24/7 for as long as it takes to make it grow – but there's more to life than just this, I think.
Implicit in this question is a world in which you no longer have life because your business does. A world in which your free time disappears, and you no longer have time for family, friends, and other things that make life worth living.
I don't want to live like this. Would you?
Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't work hard on your business. You should! After all, this is the only way to achieve the lifestyle you want. But forget about the 9-to-5 rat race for a moment. Concentrate on the other things that matter in your life: your family, friends, and hobbies.
Start with whatever makes you happy.
