In Session Ibiza May 2026

There's a specific shift in the air on Ibiza in May. The first real heat starts to settle in, the days stretch later, and the music people want changes with it. Not yet the full peak-season intensity, but something already loose and forward-moving.

This month's In Session Ibiza is what that feels like to me right now.

The mix

It opens with Dennis Cruz's Cookies on Lemon-aid, the kind of opener that sets a room without overstating itself. From there, CamelPhat's remix of Bobby Nourmand, Motip White and ACUA rolls in, and Paco Osuna takes the third slot with his rework of Carlos Fauvrelle and Victor Calderone on Stereo Productions. That third track is one of those cuts I've been chasing all winter, exactly the kind of sound the underground rooms on this island were built for.

Through the middle, the mix moves through Ryan Grey, Justin Ley, and AUGIS with Emilia Ali. Kellerkind brings I've Been Cooking on Stil vor Talent. TOYZZ drops This Beat on Truesoul, Chris Avantgarde brings Concrete Professionalon Hyperreal, and PAGANO with the James Hurr dub remix on KISM turns the temperature up.

The final stretch is where it lands. Josh Wink alongside Size 9 and Marco Faraone on Factory 93. Josh Samuel and PENTHOUSE on Goodside Records. And it closes on Joseph Capriati's Psychic Journey on Global Underground, exactly the kind of finish I want to be playing on the rooftop come Friday.

Why now

This mix lands the same week the Rooftop Sessions begin. Friday, May 8, is the first night of my bi-weekly residency at the Tomorrowland Store Ibiza, twelve dates across the season, on the rooftop of Ibiza Gallery in Playa d'en Bossa, sunset to late, looking out at Ushuaïa and Hï just down the strip.

A residency like that asks you to think differently about your sound. Not just one peak-time set, but four hours of building, holding, releasing, building again. In Session Ibiza is monthly — it lets me work out what that sound becomes when you have time to develop it.
