The Midnight Project #218
Last week we doubled our listeners. Double. Whatever you did- sharing the show, bringing a friend, playing it out loud by the pool- it worked. Thank you. The best way I know to say that is with a new hour of music.

Episode #218 is out this morning, built on groove. Per Hammar opens on Natura Viva Black, Pan-Pot land on Second State, and my favorite moment of the hour is Mark Broom's remix of "Tropical Melons" by 2000 And One, a Dutch classic rebuilt on Rekids.

Two years in Spain

That Dutch classic on ReKids lands in a fitting week. Next Thursday marks two years since Caroline, Bo and I got in the car in Amsterdam, on my birthday, and took six weeks to drive down to Valencia. We lived there for our first months in Spain and moved to Ibiza in November, 2024.

Two years later, the sunsets have not gotten old, and the siestas are non-negotiable. And before you ask about the shirt in the first photo: hard times refers to the music, not the life. The life is double listeners, a golden retriever, and a sunset in Es Cubells.
Bo's Instagram

Speaking of Bo: he is now active on his own Instagram. Two years of videos, posting them one siesta at a time. Follow @bohemiainthesun for beach runs and siestas.
August 14: Guestlist Tomorrowland
And it gets better: on Friday, August 14, I am back on the rooftop for Tomorrowland Rooftop Sessions Ibiza. Two years on the island, and my birthday celebrated the only way that makes sense. Sunset, open air, the music from this show played the way it was made to be played. Guest list is free: link
