The Midnight Project #094

The Midnight Project #094

Rise and shine; it’s Wednesday morning again! As we welcome the break of day, we welcome episode #094 of The Midnight Project, your weekly escape into the techno landscape.

The Midnight Project by Sebastiaan Hooft
Discover fresh techno with The Midnight Project. Weekly new releases, energizing workout mixes, and exclusive underground tracks await you.

This week I ventured into the realms of Layton Giordani with "Paranoid," felt the classic energy of Jacki-E’s "Acid Redemption," and experienced the collaborative magic in "Close To You" by BLR, anamē, and Truetone. Each track is a beacon in the night, guiding us through the diverse terrains of techno.

Hot Set: Takschleife Berlin

Caught in the moment. Listen to the set here.

Two weeks ago, I played a set for Taktschleife Berlin. It features the upcoming tracks from the new Taktschleife album, and many people listened. In about six weeks, the label will unveil my track "Magazine" as part of this album. I remind you to immerse yourself in the set and experience Berlin techno. Listen to the set here.

Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson

As we navigate the rhythms of life and music, I’m reminded of the importance of balance. This week, inspired by insights from the book on Elon Musk, I’ve been reflecting on three critical learnings: prioritize health over work, embrace the power of focused attention, and remember that innovation stems from well-being. These principles remind us that our passion for music thrives on a foundation of physical and mental health.

As we wrap up this e-mail, I would like to thank you for sharing The Midnight Project with friends and fellow techno enthusiasts. Let’s continue growing our Midnighters community, united by our love for the techno that defines us. The more people listen, the more great music I get for you!

Until next week, let’s keep the rhythm alive and our spirits high.

Warmest regards,

PS. Each show is on 1001 Tracklists, which also includes links to players. For a live listening experience, tune in to DI.FM at 4 PM (CET).
