Kingsday and Moving Forward
This Kingsday was a special one, likely our last in the Netherlands, as my girlfriend and I are preparing to move to Spain! We're filled with excitement. This picture is a fond farewell to a tradition we've cherished.
The Power of Good Sleep
Finding time to rest can be challenging in our relentless world, especially for those engaged in the nightlife and techno. I've been embracing a transformative sleep routine that's significantly impacted how I feel and perform. Inspired by the insights from "Why We Sleep" by Matthew Walker, I've adopted a simple nightly ritual: 3-2-1. I stopped eating three hours before bed, drinking two hours before, and turning off all screens one hour before sleep. While I use an Amazon Kindle, it's been a game-changer that helps me wind down without the harsh blue light from phones or computers.
As we journey through techno landscapes and prioritize wellness, remember the importance of harmonizing our high-energy pursuits with restorative sleep. It's not just about the quantity of sleep but embracing practices that enhance its quality.
