This Week's Highlights:
This week's show features some incredible talents in the techno scene. Monika Kruse, a legend in techno, is back with a powerful remix by Joyhauser. Monika Kruse is known for her dynamic sets and influential productions, and Joyhauser adds their signature hard-hitting heights.
This episode also features Belocca, a prolific producer who consistently delivers high-energy tracks that light up dance floors. His collaboration with Heerhorst, "Flipping," is a testament to his dynamic production skills and ability to craft infectious rhythms that resonate with techno enthusiasts.
Spotlight: "Whoopee" (Sebastiaan Hooft Remix)
I'm thrilled to share that my remix of "Whoopee" by Sergio Marini & Luke has been making waves! This weekend, it was played at Egg London and has been supported by DJ Panda, XABI, and even the legendary Paul van Dyk. This remix brings a fresh, energetic twist to the original, blending infectious rhythms with powerful beats. You can check the list of plays via 1001 Tracklists.
Spotlight: "Busy Child" (Sebastiaan Hooft Remix)
Another exciting update - my "Busy Child" remix is getting serious attention. It's been played by Dada Life, Horatio, and Hanstler. This remix allowed me to infuse Stagira's original with my personal touch, creating a blend of energetic grooves and uplifting melodies that are perfect for the dance floor. From the Book: Holiday Season
As we approach the summer season, it's essential to take a moment to relax and recharge. Here's an excerpt from my book "Redesign" that I hope will help you unwind and build towards a fantastic summer season:
In January I went out, bought a slow juicer, and started juicing every day. The first nine days were hell. On day ten, I woke up, got out of bed, opened the curtains, and walked out onto my balcony. The Amstel River, which runs through Amsterdam, goes past my house. I looked at the river and squinted. It was a brighter blue than I had ever seen before. I looked at the trees. The leaves were in Technicolor. When I heard the birds singing, I heard each note of their musicality in a new way. Day ten showed me the connection between my mental health and my physical health.
I juiced for sixty days, just like Joe, and lost more than sixty pounds. I had more energy and was more clear-headed than I had ever been in my life. I found Joe on LinkedIn and sent him a note thanking him, and we ended up becoming digital friends. He inspires me with his contagious generosity. We've gone through similar transformations, from being single-focused, insanely unhealthy entrepreneurs to using our skills to build a better quality of life not only for ourselves but for as many people as possible in our spheres.
Now is the perfect time to embrace new habits that can lead to a healthier and happier life. Whether it's starting a new exercise routine, adopting a more nutritious diet, or simply taking time each day to relax and reflect, these small changes can profoundly impact your overall well-being. Enjoy!
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Your support means the world to me. Stay tuned for more exciting episodes, and let's continue making every moment unique with The Midnight Project.
Stay positive, stay connected, and keep dancing!
