The Midnight Project #172

The Midnight Project #172

This week’s energy is for you, the one chasing late-night ideas, early-morning ambition, and everything in between. Whether you’re hitting the gym, car, or work, this is your sign to stay locked in, focused, and inspired.

The Midnight Project
Sebastiaan Hooft, DJ and author of Redesign, lives in Ibiza, crafting house and techno sets inspired by the island’s energy.

Every track this week was picked to elevate your mindset. Avis Vox opens strong. Victor Ruiz and Mila Journée keep the drive going. And that HI-LO track? I played it last Saturday at Tomorrowland Ibiza, and people were rushing over for the ID. That moment is now yours. Kate Hex and Reaktive bring even more fuel before I close with a private edit of a Marco Faraone remix from a Carlo Lio original. Three layers deep. Pure fire.

Create your momentum

Creative flow (Credits: Head Studios)

Last Thursday, I spent the day in Turin’s Head Studios shaping new music for the label and talking to their producers. There’s something powerful about getting in the zone and seeing ideas come to life. The same kind of focus that drives anything worth building.

Later that night, we took that energy straight to the crowd at ONE Turin, with Luca Testa, Emison, and many more. From studio to stage, everything felt connected.

Connection through music

Last weekend’s rooftop set at Tomorrowland Ibiza was unforgettable. When the crowd locked in and asked for the HI-LO ID end-set, I knew we had something special. If you’ve never experienced the island at full power, now’s your chance. I’ll be back on Saturday (September 27) for an all-nighter. You’re invited. Free entrance. Let’s dance together under the open sky.

Live the life that moves you

The Midnight Project isn’t just about techno. It’s about choosing energy over routine, creativity over comfort, and purpose over pressure. Let the music remind you that you already have what it takes to move forward with intention.

Clubbing is changing. It’s becoming more mindful, more connected, and more aligned with how we want to live. More of us are looking for deeper experiences, not just late nights, but daytime techno moments that match our rhythm, fuel our wellness, and leave us inspired.

Thanks for being part of this shift.
See you at the next one.
