A few things already stand out, defining where I'm heading.
Guest mixes on DI.FM
The exclusive Part 2 guest mixes on DI.FM has been a real highlight this year. Artists stepped in with strong, identity-driven sets and a clear understanding of the sound. Guest mixes in 2025 so far have come from: Drumsauw, Sagia, Poly Powder, Sam WOLFE, XABI ONLY, Stijn Vandensande, Laybe, Groovecreator, Emison, Jacki-E, Francesca Fagiani, Kai State, Eric James, Roger Lavelle, 74, Slim Black, AdamK, Belocca, Sygma, and Alex Micca.
Each of these mixes added its own flavor while keeping the momentum and energy Midnighters expect from the show.
Tomorrowland gigs and recordings
2025 also marked a big step forward with Tomorrowland. Playing and recording sets in that environment, especially during the Rooftop Sessions, brought the sound of The Midnight Project into a live, high-energy space that translates perfectly back into the show. Those recordings and experiences continue to influence the flow and direction of the episodes.
