The Midnight Project #092

As we enter another Wednesday, it's time to unveil Episode #092 of The Midnight Project. This week's episode is a curated blend of techno tracks that promise to elevate your spirit and energize your soul. Each piece is a journey from the depth and complexity of Oliver Huntemann's "Rotten 2.0" to the iconic beats of UMEK's "Pump Up The Jam" bootleg.

Out now: Madrid

I'm overwhelmed by the incredible reception to my latest track, "Madrid." The connection we share through music is what makes this journey so unique. If you haven't, I invite you to experience "Madrid" by listening here. Your support means the world to me, and I'm grateful for every listen and piece of feedback.

Greetings from Spain

This week's adventures take me through Valencia and Alicante as I embark on a quest for a second home. It's an exciting time filled with new possibilities and the promise of fresh inspiration.

Wellness Tip: Digital Detox for a Healthier Mind

Expanding on last week's theme of reducing news consumption, I want to share two practical steps I've taken towards a digital detox that has significantly improved my mental well-being:

Remove social media and news apps from your phone: This simple action can dramatically decrease the temptation to scroll through endless feeds and news stories that often contribute to stress and anxiety. You can better control your consumption by accessing these platforms intentionally via a web browser.

Use silent mode wisely: Beyond muting calls and notifications, consider setting specific times and areas when your phone is silent to protect your peace and focus. This practice helps create periods of uninterrupted quality time for work, reflection, or connection with loved ones.

These steps are part of a more extensive journey towards mental clarity and peace in our fast-paced digital world. Last week, I shared my decision to step back from X, inspired by personal reflections and a desire for genuine connection over the noise of online spaces.

As we move forward, I encourage you to consider your digital habits and their impact on your mental health. Finding a balance between staying informed and maintaining peace is crucial.

Welcome to all the new Midnighters who've joined us this week! I'm excited to share this journey with you, filled with music, personal growth, and shared experiences.

Let's continue to inspire each other and find harmony in our digital and physical worlds.

Warmest regards,

Sebastiaan Hooft
