The Midnight Project #085
It's Wednesday morning, which means episode #085, The Extravagant Edition, is here! This week, we're stepping outside the usual with tracks that redefine techno. Expect an auditory journey that's anything but ordinary.
In Episode #085, we're embracing the extraordinary. One of the highlights of this episode is Coyu's sensational work. He's rocking the techno scene, and it's easy to see why. Coyu isn't just playing music; he's redefining it. From Emanuele Marini's 'Pharao' with its mesmerizing beats to Jason Johnson's 'Asteroid,' each track in this episode contributes to an awe-inspiring audio experience. Beatport Exclusive: Madrid
And speaking of uniqueness, my latest track, "Madrid," is now available on Beatport as an exclusive download. It's a fusion of proper techno and the soulful essence I found in Madrid last summer. Your support means the world - let's make this a chart-topper together!
Let's meet in Valencia
Talking about Spanish soul, until Friday, I'll be in Valencia working on my second book. It's an exciting blend of music, discovery, and personal growth. Follow my journey on Instagram @sebastiaanhooft, and maybe we can meet in this beautiful city!
Oh yes, oh yes!
Don't forget to check out my review of Carl Cox's bio. It's a deep dive into the life of a techno legend, filled with stories of resilience and innovation.
Wellness: Good Sleep
Now, let's talk about sleep. In our busy lives, it's easy to overlook the importance of good sleep. Here are my three best tips to keep you on top of your sleep game: eat healthy, take regular walks, and try to wake up naturally without an alarm. It's what I do to continue the work of an author and DJ. The last one I realize is a luxury not many of us can afford.
I've read "Why We Sleep" by Matthew Walker for a deeper understanding of sleep and its impact. It's an insightful read about sleep's crucial role in our health. It helped me understand how sleep works and what I was doing wrong (like drinking coffee in the evening).
The Midnight Project brings a new chapter to our techno story each week. I love hearing how the music becomes part of your life. Stay engaged, share your stories, and let's keep the spirit of techno thriving. Tag me! Mail me!
Until next time, keep dancing to life's rhythms and care for yourselves.
Stay Extravagant,
Sebastiaan Hooft
